Tonga’s outgoing beauty pageant winner, Kalo Funganitao, had her microphone cut and loud music played in the middle of a speech as she detailed her experiences of bullying over the past year. Funganitao, who is a law student at Auckland University, said she and her mother were 'cheated, lied to, backstabbed and just generally mistreated' during her tenure as Miss Heilala.
