Canada's own Joshua Lucas, also known as "The Future," joined the Entertainment Report Podcast for an inspiring conversation about his career. Joshua shared his early introduction to Bob Marley's music, his admiration for Dennis Brown as his favorite singer, and Shabba Ranks as his favorite Dancehall artist. He discussed his beginnings at the Jambana festival, his love King Turbo, and how some of his peers refer to him as the black David Rodigan. Joshua's band 'The Future Collective' has played for Ken Boothe and other artists, and he has served as the musical director for Kirk Diamond's The Movement of Ahryel, which won two Juno awards. He also spoke about his experience clashing at Original Rub A Dub Thursdays and representing Canada. Joshua Lucas truly lives up to his name "The Future" as a musical genius.
