Jameson Williams in an NFL wide receiver for the Detroit Lions. He was born in St. Louis Missouri and went to Cardinal Ritter College Prep High School where he excelled in football and track. His entire family are track stars. His parents actually met on their high school track team. Despite his father’s wishes for him to attend Alabama, he went to Ohio State. Ohio State is loaded with wide receivers and Jameson Williams felt like he wasn’t being utilized. So he ended up finishing his college career with the Crimson Tide where he absolutely showed off his skills. During their game against Georgia is the National Championship game, Williams tore his ACL. He then declared for the NFL draft where he was picked 12th overall by the Detroit Lions. In his rookie season, he mostly recovered from his injury, however, he did show a few glimpses of what he is capable of. Then during the offseason, he was suspended for breaking the NFL’s gambling policy. He was suspended for four games. When he returned he struggled a bit catching the ball. People started to speculate that he might be a bust. Now, he’s starting to show that he is an absolute game changer and he’s fully embraced the Detroit Lions…and they seemed to have embraced him.
