The next stop on our journey through the UK was Edinburgh, Scotland. We met a lovely friend, Chris Whittingham (who sadly passed away a few weeks later), and got to see the castle and town.

Edinburgh was packed. The streets were just filled with people - locals, tourists, business and other travelers. The hardest part about Edinburgh was getting into a local restaurant. Every time we tried to find a place to eat they were full or required reservations in the evening. It was a great city and the park around the castle is so beautiful. The hills were, too, but I could not talk Anthony into hiking any of the hills. Oh , well. I got him back in Germany in 2023.
