A cutting garden is a special type of garden grown specifically for the purpose of harvesting flowers. Cuttings gardens are grown so you can bring blooms indoors to create beautiful arrangements.

Imagine having a fresh bouquet of flowers on your dining table, kitchen counter, and night stand, all grown from your own hands.

One of the great things about cutting gardens is that you don't need a lot of space to start one. This season I am starting small. Even if you live in an apartment with a small balcony or patio, you can still grow a wonderful selection of flowers in containers.

I will be focusing on flowers I can direct seed into the garden. Zinnias, cosmos, and sunflowers. I hope you'll join me.
