It’s been almost 3 months since I last made a video with a 2000s aesthetic theme so I feel a bit at home after trying different concepts lately. Even if those videos didn’t really do that well, a lot of you stuck around which is super encouraging!

Sometimes I feel like it’s strange for me to do meta commentary about my channel all the time in the description. But I like to pretend it’s the DVD director’s cut bonus commentary. I think it might screw up my tags though. I don’t think that’s a big deal though, right? Whatever.

I have 0 desire to be known as the ‘y2k vlogger guy’. Frankly, while the nature of this website involves building off of the existing genres pioneered by other creators, YouTube is already derivative enough to warrant at least trying to do something new! Which I’ll strive to do but I’ll definitely be back to the 2000s nostalgia themes every once in a while 🧡
