There is one particular person in your life that is your greatest enemy; your Final Boss.

They’re harder on you than any critic, they put their wants and needs over yours at every opportunity, and they try to control every facet of your life at the expense of everything and everyone you care about–and that person is you!

What I’m talking about is of course, the concept of Ego, and while ego doesn’t make you inherently narcissistic or evil, or anything like that, it’s an aspect of our mind and our personality that tries to step in and take control, and when we don’t have good understanding or awareness of our ego, that’s when we’re at risk of letting it control our actions and say things that we don’t mean, and often times even keep us from being the person we want to be.

So that’s why today I want to share with you my understanding of ego, and my struggles with ego, and how I’ve overcome them, so that maybe you can defeat your Final Boss, and we can all start being the person we want to be a bit more.
