Start with a Super Tug and end with a Super-Tug!

A visit to Barnetby on Wednesday 8th May 2013 certainly didn't dissapoint with plethura of freight movements, the majority being coal. Love the semaphores and the two signal boxes. This is proper railways!

Arrival was 09:00 and unfortunately didn't start videoing until 09:45 as I realised I had actually left my camera at home, some 243 miles away! A quick call to the brother-in-law who lives in Lincolnshire to see if he was at home and to borrow his Canon 5D but sods law he was in London.

So, out came the ipad2, let's have a go with this and see what happens, I had nothing to lose!

Here's what came through, some filmed, some not. It's a long video so grab a coffee, some biscuits and enjoy. Apologies if the ipad moved a bit, it was bloody windy and the occassional rain, but in the circumstances, it was the best I could do. Won't leave home without camera again, that's for sure.

Checked into Rookery Farm Guest House which overlooks the West End Signal Box, can thoroughly recommend this place (01652 688473), beautiful place to stay.

It wasn't my day as I had also intended to visit the chippy and get a bite to eat but got down there at 8.10 and they close at 8pm, so anyone going there, make a note they close at 8pm! It just made the Full English Breakfast that more enjoyable!
