The Cleveland Browns most recent free agent signing of running back D'Onta Foreman has created some new controversy about who will be the featured back of the offense while Nick Chubb rehabs his knee injury.

I believe that Foreman's running style and overall approach to carrying the ball is more conducive to the team's offense, particularly because Foreman always works upfield.

Jerome Ford is a very talented running back and has been a solid player for the Browns, but he often spends too much time behind the line of scrimmage and this creates early downs with negative plays.

This running style (when it doesn't result in big gains) leaves the Browns offense behind the chains and limits what they can do.

Deshuan Watson and the Browns passing attack needs as much help as they can, and I think that giving D'Onta Foreman the ball on early downs is the best way to do that.

Jerome Ford had a great year last year, and his trade value will never be higher than it is right now, so Cleveland should heavily consider trading him before the draft.
