In April 2024 I solo hiked the Sugarloaf Pass in New Zealand. It’s an out and back hike where I pitched my tent for one night on the Theatre Flats, which is in Mount Aspiring National Park. It’s about a 24 km hike out and back, starting/ending at the convenient Routeburn Shelter.
