This is a long ride that takes me from western part of Norway to the east.
It is the first of September and the day is absolutely beautiful.
Why waste such a day?
I get on the bike and the destination is Løten near Elverum.
From where I live, I have 3 riding route options.
Drive the coast from Sandnes to Kristiansand and then up via Oslo and then to Hamar and Løten.
Next is up Hunnedalen, Sirdal over Suleskar down to Valle, over to Dalen and then Notodden Kongsberg, Hønefoss and then E6 up towards Hamar and Løten.
Or should I take the long route around.
The long route is North up towards Haugesund, then Ølen and then Odda and then drive to Hardanger. Next after that is Eidfjord, Hardangervidda to Geilo. Then Gol and Golsfjellet to Leira and then drive to Valdres. Then over to Gjøvik to take Mjøsbrua and the E6 back down to Hamar and towards Elverum and Løten.
I took the long route! Over 10 hours of riding have been put together in a series of 8 episodes.
Some may think they are a bit long, so I can inform you that there is a forward button! :)
