The best bread in the world? Easy recipes are great for beginners, especially when they are as simple as this one. Baking bread is a challenge for many, but it's much easier than you might think.

Ingredients:
240 g water
¼ cube yeast (10 g)
350 g wheat flour type 550 and a little for handling the dough
150 g rye flour type 1150
100 g natural yogurt
2 tsp salt
1 tsp honey
1 tsp. baking malt
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar, light

Preparation:
Put the water and yeast in a bowl and mix both ingredients together.
Add wheat flour, rye flour, yogurt, salt, honey, baking malt, and balsamic vinegar, and work everything into a dough for 4 minutes. Transfer the dough to a bowl and leave it covered in a warm place to rise for 1½ hours. During this time, grease and flour a Roman pot (3 l).
Place the dough on a floured work surface, fold several times and shape into a loaf. Place the loaf in the prepared Roman pot, dust with flour, and cut the surface. Put the lid on, place it in the cold oven on the lowest shelf and bake for 50-60 minutes (240°C). Carefully remove the lid, bake the bread for 5 minutes without the lid (240°C), carefully remove it from the pan and leave to cool on a cooling rack.
