About John Owen Lowe:
Johnny is a rising star in Hollywood, making a name for himself in acting and storytelling.

Lowe showed interest in the arts at an early age, but chose to study science and technology at Stanford University. He never thought about joining the “family business,” but took a job as a PA in a few writers’ rooms just to see what it was like. He ended up really liking it and eventually joined the writing staff for “9-1-1: Lone Star.” He also began acting, starring opposite his father Rob Lowe in the legal comedy series “The Grinder” for Fox and in the Christmas romantic comedy Holiday in the Wild for Netflix.

More recently Lowe starred in and produced the thriller Grace Point for director Rory Karpf. The film marked his debut as a lead actor in a feature film. It follows a young man faced with addiction who gets lost in the woods on his way to a remote drug rehab center and wrestles with the locals as well as his own personal demons. Lowe not only starred in but also produced the picture and helped to shape the character based on his own experiences. The movie premiered at the 2022 Santa Barbara Film Festival.

Lowe co-created, starred in and executive produced the Netflix comedy series “Unstable,” alongside his father and Victor Fresco. The series, which is loosely based inspired by his relationship on social media with his father , received the Paul Junger Witt Comedy Award at the 33rd Environmental Media Awards. His love for baking led to hosting the Food Network series "Baked." As an actor, he's worked with notable figures like Rob Zombie and Steven Soderbergh and has appeared in several films and TV shows, including the HBO film "Behind the Candelabra." Additionally, Papa has contributed as a writer to projects like "Bee Movie" and various TV series. Residing in Los Angeles with his family, Papa continues to balance his professional life with personal interests like baking.
