Here we go with part II, the install. After getting it apart, it sure wasn't fun putting it back... I might have hurt the dozers feelings a few times... The one thing I am pretty sure of.... This was probably the hard way and more difficult way to do the repair. However, it kept me from having to remove the entire nose of the machine.

While I was working on my buddies property, the Cat D3B fan belt started to squeal but every time I'd take it out of gear, get up and get to the engine hatch.... It would stop. I'd go back to working till it would do it again. Rinse and Repeat several times. Finally, it kept squealing and I made it to the hatch to open and see the water pump pully not turning. I went to shut it down and then it stopped squealing. I figured it was the same as before... I was proven wrong when I saw the steam coming from the radiator shortly there after. Needless to say, I moved it out to an open spot and shut her down. Now it's time to dig in a fix the problem.
