It's the Grand Départ of the Tour de France in Florence. This also means a big stage for the professionals' racing bikes. We start with the brand new Specialized S-Works Tarmac SL8 from Tour co-favourite Primoz Roglic. We will also take a look inside the team truck.

Just a few days ago, Specialized presented the S-Works Tarmac SL8 in the new Red Bull - Bora Hansgrohe version. The 17,000 euro production racing bike is used for the homologation of the new professional racing bike, with which the riders rolled to the team presentation in Florence today.

The Red Bull - Bora Hansgrohe mechanics had their hands full at the team camp in Florence and at the service course to get the bikes to the start line on time - more on this below. There are three tools for each of the 8 riders travelling to the Tour.
