The Iconic CSX Indiana Subdivision, known for the various B&O Color Position Light Signals that have kept guard for nearly a century on this part of the former B&O mainline to St. Louis. But this era is coming to end, as signal replacements have ramped up between Mitchell and Seymour Indiana.

As of the posting of this video, just about every signal west of Seymour has the X of doom spray painted on the masts, and several places already have either new signals installed or holes dug for the new signal bases. The Cutovers are allegedly slated for sometime during September from Mitchell to Seymour, so these old B&O soldiers are on borrowed time.

With the developing changes, on 7/30/24, I drove out to Medora Indiana in hopes of following L452 east, and getting more shots west of Seymour. Little over an hour of waiting, and I finally heard a few horn blasts off to the west breaking the morning silence. As the train crawled east through Medora, and I began my chase eastbound. Catching them at several more spots along line. So in invite you to sit back, relax, and enjoy a chase over the Indiana Subdivision.
