The Keychron Q8 Knob Version is a modified Alice layout hot-swappable mechanical keyboard that comes with - you guessed it - a cool rotary knob. I ordered the barebones version in in silver grey. In today's video, I'll show you how I built this board (PE foam, lubed stock stabs, force break mod, tape mod, factory-lubed Gateron Pro Milky Yellow switches, GMK Nautilus R2 keycaps). There are also sound and typing tests toward the end, along with a comparison with my Q1 build.

• Scotch Blue Painters tape for force break
• Layer of thin PE foam between PCB and plate, in addition to plate foam
