In het weekend van zaterdag 25 en zondag 26 mei 2024 was het druk in de sporthal van de Haamen in Beek.
Mensen met verschillende nationaliteiten kwamen hiernaartoe om een nogal bijzondere sport uit te oefenen in wedstrijdvorm:
De wereldkampioenschappen Nunchaku-do 2024
De organisatie lag in handen van de Judo en Nunchaku Club uit Spaubeek samen met de World Nunchaku Association.
De voorzitter vertelde in een interview meer details over deze sport.
Daarna volgde diverse wedstrijdelementen in een spannende finale.
Na afloop was er natuurlijk een prijsuitreiking met veel tevreden gezichten.

During the weekend of Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 May 2024, it was busy in the sports hall of "De Haamen" in Beek (The Netherlands).
People of different nationalities came here to practice a rather special sport in competition:
The 2024 Nunchaku-do World Championships
The organization was in the hands of the Judo and Nunchaku Club from Spaubeek together with the World Nunchaku Association.
