Power Metal is the most diverse subgenre of Metal which includes some of the most aggressive and speedy songs, as well as pretty much dance music. In this episode we will take a look at the evolution of Power Metal, by taking a song released each year from 1987 - 2021 to see how the style has evolved... if it did, of course, as well as answer the question about a problem there is with what we call today Power Metal.

We will take a look at such bands as Helloween, Blind Guardian, Running Wild, Gamma Ray, NorthTale, Stratovarius, Manowar, Gamma Ray, Angra, Sabaton, HammerFall, Sonata Arctica, Avantasia, Hibria, Firewind, Alestorm, Orden Ogan, Serenity, Working and others.
