Sandakphu is the highest point of West Bengal India and shares it's border with Iilam district of Nepal.
It is a famous trekking site but not very well known as a riders first choice.
Sandakphu sits at an altitude of 11929 ft above sea level and to reach the top there are some to no roads at all.
the 40 kms journey from Maneybhanjang to Sandakphu is a back breaking, clutch plate frying,off road ride with hair pin bends some of which are inclined at 45 degrees.
The only vehicle which carries trekkers to and fro are the 4x4 Land Rover wich were left behind by the British.
