In a deleted response to someone online, Halsey has clarified why she didn’t attend the Met Gala this year. In the response, she said “I only had my baby 7 weeks ago. There’s nothing more 'American fashion' than moms having to go back to work after just giving birth.” Her child, named Ender, is still a newborn, with dad Alev Aydin. This makes sense as to why she wouldn’t want to come this year, as she has a brand new baby to look after.
