Do you need an excellent contest antenna?
I built a 43 foot vertical for portable operation. This antenna performed like a rock star!
I show you how I built this big antenna for Field Day.

There is not really a parts list for this antenna that I can share, I used mostly spare parts I have in my garage for building ham radio antennas

The construction of this 43 foot antenna can really be made of any materials you have available.
The primary components that you will need are:

43 foot piece of wire for the radiator
4 Sixty two foot radials for the 80 meter band
4 Thirty three foot radials for the 40 meter band.
4 Seventeen foot radials for the 20 meter band
4 Eleven foot radials for the 15 meter band
4 Nine foot radials for the 10 meter band.

- Remote auto tuner like the Chameleon URT1
- 4:1 Unun like the Balun Designs 4132 SW
- 100 plus feet of coax
- Any existing HF ham radio that you have.

This is a list of the building blocks, what you will need to create an antenna like this for yourself.
