D-Day marks the start of World War II liberation efforts. The battle first raged on the coast of Normandy. 1.5 million men and women took part in it. The film takes a closer look at the backstage of the entire set-up of the operation. Some crucial facts on logistics, some incredible secret decisions made by leaders, the involvement of top-ranking officers as well as surprising secret agents all led to the success of the operation.
