My little brother asked me if I can help him out with his final graphic design thesis presentation. I agreed, and then went a little overboard, designing, 3D printing, and building a fully functioning kinetic sculpture...all in 4 days.

The mechanism was based off of this from ‪@thang010146‬

And features a chain and sprocket that pulls a cart around a slotted track. The 9's from the logo would be connected to the cart, and follow the path of chain. My vision was for the 9s to remain in the same orientation across the entire track. This is where the clever 3 slot design comes into effect.

After some setbacks and challenges, I was able to create a kinetic sculpture using 3D printed and laser cut parts that accentuated little bro's brand without taking away from the incredible work he accomplished on this project. Win win for both of us!

Much of this project was printed on my Bambulab X1 Carbon which I HIGHLY recommend (seriously, nothing beats it) Here’s my affiliate link: http://shrsl.com/2a5d5-2yn7-1cwx9
