Neum or Неум is the only coastal town of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Bosna I Hercegovina). Neum cuts the Republic of Croatia in two parts. However, the Croatian government has recently built a bridge in order to connect the city of Dubrovnik to the rest of Croatia. Neum has a total population of almost 5,000 of which 3,000 live directly in the centre of the town. Some highlights of Neum are the modern brutalist church, the cross with the war memorial, the Catholic Church of St. Ivana and the Neum and Zenit Beaches. Other important places in Bosnia are Sarajevo and Mostar.
