We haven't had many videos about the animals that we have at our place, so we thought it might be a good idea to show an episode where we build some practical items for our chickens! Using a typical poultry food and water dispenser wastes a lot and is really messy. For the water, most store-bout feeders resemble a cylindrical trough style, and the water in the trough gets dirty rather quickly. The same style food dispenser leads to a lot of your food being thrown on the ground to attract bugs and rodents. The way that these dispensers are designed, there is minimal waste, it is much cleaner, and bugs and rodents become less of an issue. These are very simple to do and is a great project to get the kids involved with!
