Listen in to a rare news interview conducted with Confederate General Nathan Bedford Forrest on August 28th, 1868 by Jim Benok for the Cincinnati Daily Commercial an 1860's newspaper. The interview was subsequently narrated for the Civil War Diaries. While portions of this interview are often cited, it is rarely given in it's entirety and so is given here, along with Forrest's reply to the article that was published in order to be given full context.
