Hola todos :) In this video we go around Quetzaltenango, Guatemala trying some of the food around the city including Pupusas, Pepian, and Platanitos Fritos. (And yes we know pupusas are El Salvadorian haha.). We started off our day at Los Cheros Pupuseria y Tipicos talking to Alex about Pupusas and why Pupusas are very common in Guatemala and then for an early dinner we made our way to an AUTHENTIC Guatemalan restaurant called Flor Maya. We enjoyed some amazing dishes, one of them being Pepían, and even getting to interview the head chef about the process and Guatemalan culture, ALL IN SPANISH. After Flor Maya we headed to the "Teatro" to try one of the most popular dessert places in Quetzaltenango, El Lucerito. They serve fried plantains with different toppings and they are so so good so don't miss out in this video :)
