Fil-Pjazza tar-Rahal (In the Village Square) is a very popular song composed, written and sung by Malta's famous singer Enzo Gusman.

The singer narrates the life of three old men who used to meet in the village Square on the step of the church parvis and talk. One spoke about the time when he was a sailor and many times faced danger in rough seas. The other said he was a soldier and once he saved four children from the rubble after an attack. The third said he had no education and went to help his father in the bakery and also collected social help.

Eventually they did not meet anymore and the parish priest told him that they had gone to reap the reward of their hard lives and enjoy Him whom they loved in their lives.
