Hello everyone from Mamuşa, Kosovo! We are at the Mamuşa Tomato Festival. My relative Fatih Mencak is accompanying me here. Additionally, we are meeting the Mayor of Ankara, Mansur Yavaş, here. I am meeting many Kosovars, Albanians, and Turks at the festival. They all speak Turkish very well. They have managed to preserve the Turkish language inherited from the Ottoman period.

I also have the opportunity to talk with Mayor Mansur Yavaş here. Additionally, I am meeting with the officials of the Democratic Turkish Party of Kosovo at the Mamuşa Municipality International Tomato Festival.

About Mamuşa:
Mamuşa is a town located in the southwest of Kosovo and is part of the Prizren Municipality. It is one of the smallest municipalities in Kosovo and its population is largely of Turkish origin. Mamuşa is one of the places with the highest Turkish community in Kosovo, and Turkish is widely spoken here.

Historically, Mamuşa was an important settlement during the Ottoman period. Agriculture, especially vegetable production, plays an important role in Mamuşa's economy. The town is famous for its delicious tomatoes and promotes this product with the annual Tomato Festival.

Mamuşa is a culturally rich settlement and makes great efforts to preserve traditional Turkish culture. The town has architectural works and historical mosques from the Ottoman period. The cultural and social life of the Turkish community in Mamuşa is kept vibrant thanks to close relations with Turkey.

I am in Mamuşa, Kosovo, sponsored by Just English Language Schools (https://www.justenglishtr.com).
