Recently, Mayu had been seen feeling gloomy, so Michi decides to talk to her. After both Ryuko and Mon get back from the digital world, they would briefly meet Eiji, a part-timer at the Truffle. Michi then has the idea to bring Ryuko, Mayu, and Mon to the mall to have fun. After making some preparations, they set a time to meet. Michi, running late, ends up bumping into a girl and but runs off without getting her name. The group eventually is all gathered together, however a Digital Point interrupts them. Fighting their way through, Kazuma is caught in the frey while Kuwagamon are running rampant causing the decision to split up the party. Michi then bumps into the same girl from before, named Sara, and learns she’s also a tamer. Meanwhile, Mayu and Mon find Kazuma but would also encounter two Devas and a mysterious Machine Digimon.
