My wife and I, as a non fully white couple living in Croatia, have encountered various experiences. I believe open conversations about these issues are necessary for change. Many people avoid uncomfortable topics, but speaking up against societal injustices is crucial. There have been attacks on foreigners, particularly those of Asian descent, who came to Croatia for work and are mistreated. However, it's important to acknowledge that not all Croatians are racist; many are wonderful, and Croatia remains one of the most beautiful countries in the world.
