In the latest installment of 1 Clear Vision with Dr. Sophia Capo of A B See Optometry and Vision Therapy and Nikki Csek of NowMedia, the duo discussed common visual clarity challenges children experience.

“(With) adults, if you have a clarity problem, you get a pair of glasses, it’s pretty strict, easy, they can fix it with glasses – in kids, It’s a lot more complicated,” said Dr. Capo.

Generally, when children are experiencing the condition, it is because of the shape of the eye, which can cause other problems down the road, but with early treatment, the elongation of the eye can be slowed down.
