Resep Tahu Cabai Garam
Bahan:
10 Tahu sutra putih ukuran kecil
10 bawang putih cincang
10 bawang merah cincang
100-200 gr tepung maizena
2 batang daun bawang iris
5-10 cabai rawit sesuai selera
Gula, garam, dan kaldu jamur sesuai selera (kaldu jamur bisa diganti kaldu ayam, kaldu sapi, atau MSG)
Minyak goreng secukupnya
Langkah:
1. Potong tahu menjadi beberapa bagian, lalu rendam di air garam
2. Lapisi tahu dengan tepung maizena
3. Diamkan 2-3 menit lalu goreng hingga kering
4. Tumis bawang putih hingga kering, lalu tiriskan
5. Tumis bawang merah hingga layu dan harum
6. Masukkan daun bawang dan cabai rawit
7. Tambahkan gula, garam, dan kaldu jamur sesuai selera
8. Masukkan tahu yang sudah digoreng
9. Masukkan bawang putih kering, aduk merata dengan tumisan bumbu
10. Tahu Cabai Garam siap disajikan

Hot and Crunchy: Salt and Pepper Tofu Recipe
This tofu dish is a fan-favorite because it's great to be eaten with rice or served as a snack. The softness of silk tofu meets the chili, salt, and garlic make the dish even more mouthwatering, especially during rainy seasons like now. Give it a try!
Salt and Pepper Tofu Recipe
Ingredients:
10 white silk tofu, small size
10 minced garlic
10 minced shallots
100-200 g cornstarch
2 stalk green onion, sliced
5-10 bird's eye chili, to taste
Salt, sugar, and mushroom stock powder, to taste (mushroom stock powder can be substituted with chicken or beef stock powder or MSG)
Cooking oil as needed
Steps:
1. Slice the tofu into several pieces and soak in salt water.
2. Coat the tofu with cornstarch.
3. Rest for 2-3 minutes and fry until they're crispy.
4. Sauté the garlic until crispy and set aside.
5. Sauté the shallots until they wilt and fragrant.
6. Add the green onions and bird's eye chili.
7. Season with sugar, salt, and mushroom stock powder, to taste.
8. Add the fried tofu in.
9. Add the crispy garlic and mix well with all the spices.
10. Salt and Pepper Tofu is ready to serve.
