Shades of Day pairs progressive and the outdoors yet again, this time at Stanley Park in Vancouver, BC.

The carving, Two Spirits, was done without permission from Stanley Park government officials, and therefore was never formally recognized as public art. Part of the guerilla art movement, it lives in a secret location in the forest as a symbol of rebellion, paralleling the untamed nature of the park itself. Artist is unknown to this day.
