Ingredients
½ cup Yellow Lentils (মটর ডাল/Yellow split pea)
1 piece (100 g) raw mango (cut into thin slice)
1 and ½ tsp salt
½ tsp. Turmeric powder
1 dry red chili
½ tsp. Mustard seeds
Few Curry leaves
1 tsp. Sugar (optional)
2 tsp. Mustard Oil tsp.
¼ tsp. Bengali five spices (Bengali panch foron) [cumin seed (sada jeera), nigella seed (kalo jeere), fenugreek seed (methi), wild celery seed (radhuni) and fennel seed (mouri)]

তেতো ডাল /Bitter Lentils

Ingredients
⅓ cup Yellow Lentils(60g) (মটর ডাল/Yellow split pea)
1 and ½ cups water
2 piece (50g) Bitter gourd (cut into thin slices round shape)
1 tsp. Salt
⅛ +¼ tsp. Turmeric powder
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tbsp. Mustard Oil
1 Bay leaf
1 dry red chili
¼ tsp. Bengali five spices (Bengali panch foron)
[cumin seed (sada jeera), nigella seed (kalo jeere), fenugreek seed (methi), wild celery seed (radhuni) and fennel seed (mouri)]
