The IPL, scheduled to start on March 29, was earlier postponed till April 15, but with the nationwide lockdown enforced to fight the coronavirus pandemic in India

There are a lot of new speculations on the start of IPL this year. It is likely to start sometime in October and end by November if the pandemic situation gets under control, say the sources.

The International Cricket Council did not take any final decision yet. But from the discussions, it appears very difficult with the rising (novel) coronavirus cases in the country for IPL to be held in India.
