We've been making the torrone the same way for nearly a 100 years. Our grandfather brought this recipe over in 1921 and we've been using him same tool and techniques since. Torrone are traditionally a wintertime and christmas treat. We start with the highest quality imported almonds and pistachios. The nougat consists of rich clover honey and egg white. We only make them during the cooler months of the year. The humidity and heat of summer months are not the right conditions to get the perfect soft chewy texture that makes torrone so delicious. Enjoy these on their own or with some coffee or hot chocolate.
