Manuel Guajardo masterfully builds a 1/48 Tamiya P-47M Thunderbolt, No. 61096. He builds a P-47D, but had to use Tamiya's P-47M since it was the only release with the tail fillet.
This Republic P-47D is built as it appeared in Mexico in the mid-1950s prior to its retirement. Manuel's father was in the Mexican Air Force and saw this aircraft first hand.
