How to plant azolla at home in small scale, Planting azolla plants at home for my chicken amendment food. Azolla is a genus of seven species of aquatic ferns in the family Salviniaceae. This azolla type is Azolla Pinnata or in common name is mosquito ferns.

This is my first time planting azolla aquatic plant at my home. I buy from my friend and plant them in large basin that use non chlorine water with adding a little bit of blood meal.

After 4 weeks planting I harvest it for my chicken breakfast at the first time and they love it. I will plant azolla again in big scale soon.
