We are trying our hand at vermicomposting! This video is a detailed "do it yourself" walk through of our red wiggler worm bin set up on our little Tennessee farmstead. We have had a regular compost pile for our kitchen scraps over the last year. However, we wanted to try a vermiculture worm farm to take advantage of the worm juice (nectar of the gods) as a sprayed organic fertilizer and the worm castings (black gold) as a spreadable fertilizer for our fruit and vegetable garden. Some say it's the best possible natural fertilizer possible. Only time will tell us. We would love to hear your feedback and ideas!
