In Shrek 2, the ogres are invited to visit Far Far Away by a messenger and his team of trumpeters. One of the trumpeters starts to improvise a jazzy little song, and is promptly shut down by the Herald. To my astonished shock, I have figured something out that shouldn’t exist— A mystery with this funny trumpeter at its centre, that flips these films on their head. A dark secret, with “Reggie the Trumpet Guy” at its core. I am sharing it with you today, in my most overzealous theory in ages. Enjoy!
