A friend of mine recently got a new puppy and asked me to make them a simple gate.
Gate is pretty standard. Made from pressure treated lumber and decking screws. I had intended to mount it level with the rest of the fence, but the post bracket made it so the gate wouldn't open inwards. So its up a couple inches now. Less than ideal, but sometimes you gotta make do!
I originally built it to open outwards, but he requested I mount it opening inwards so they could shovel snow and still easily open the gate without having to go outside and around the house. As a result you'll notice the hinges are mounted backwards. They only plan to stay there a couple years so the risk of sagging should be minimal. Hopefully anyways!
Thanks for watching.
