Natalie Gulbis was born on January 7, 1983, right in sunny Sacramento, California. Born to parents with roots in Latvia, a small northeastern country in Europe, Natalie was raised Christian. Growing up, golf wasn't simply a hobby. She was swinging clubs in her family's backyard from a super young age, which got her hooked on golf before she could even ride a bike. By the time Natalie was seven, she had won her first ever golf tournament.
And at the age of 10? She already did something that takes most golfers decades! Imagine being 10 and beating adults at golf—that was Natalie. While most of us are already happy without too many double-bogeys on 18 holes, she was out there breaking par before she even hit her teens.
