Credo in unum Deum, Patrem omnipotentem,
factorem cœli et terræ,
visibilium omnium et invisibilium.

Et in unum Dominum Iesum Christum
Filium Dei unigenitum.
Et ex Patre natum ante omnia saecula.

Deum de Deo, lumen de lumine.
Deum verum de Deo vero.
Genitum, non factum,
consubstantialem Patri:

per quem omnia facta sunt.
Qui propter nos homines
et propter nostram salutem descendit de cœlis.

Et incarnatus est de Spiritu Sancto
ex Maria Virgine et homo factus est.

Crucifixus etiam pro nobis, sub Pontio Pilato

qui locutus est per Prophetas.

Et unam sanctam catholicam
et apostolicam Ecclesiam.
Confiteor unum baptisma
in remissionem mortuorum.

Creo en un solo Dios, Padre omnipotente,
creador del cielo y de la tierra,
de todo lo visible y lo invisible.

Y en un Señor Jesucristo
hijo único de Dios,
nacido del Padre antes de todos los siglos.

Dios de Dios, luz de luz.
Dios verdadero de Dios verdadero.
Engendrado, no creado,
de la misma sustancia del Padre,
por quien todo fue hecho.
Que por nosotros los hombres
y por nuestra salvación bajó del cielo.

Y se encarnó del Espíritu Santo.
Nació de María Virgen y se hizo hombre.

Fue crucificado por nosotros, bajo Poncio Pilato
y fue sepultado.
Y resucitó al tercer día, según las escrituras.
Y subió al cielo, y está sentado a la derecha del Padre.

Y de nuevo vendrá con gloria
a juzgar a vivos y muertos
cuyo reino no tendrá fin.

Y creo en el Espíritu Santo
Señor y dador de vida,
que con el Padre y el Hijo
recibe la misma adoración y gloria:
Que habló con los Profetas.

Y creo en una santa, católica y apostólica.
Creo en la vida eterna y en el perdón de los pecados.
Y aguardo la resurrección de los muertos
y en la vida de un mundo futuro. Amén.






I believe in one God, the Father Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,

begotten, not made,

and He suffered and was buried.

And He shall come again, with glory,
to judge the living and the dead,
of His Kingdom there shall be no end.

And I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the Lord, and Giver of Life,
Who proceeds from the Father and the Son
Who, with the Father and the Son,
is together adored and glorified,
who has spoken through the Prophets.

And I believe in One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church.
I confess one Baptism for the remission of sins.
And I await the Resurrection of the Dead
and the Life of the world to come. Amen.
