http://www.McCallsQuilting.com/QuiltA... - Join McCall's Quilting contributing editor Laura Stone Roberts as she walks you through the different techniques to make this quilt and shares expert tips to make the project fun and enjoyable in a 12-part video series. Designed by Sarah Maxwell and Dolores Smith of Homestead Hearth (and recreated by Peg Spradlin using fabrics from the Ribbon Floral collection by Dover Hill for Benartex), the Glorieta quilt pattern will build your quilt making skills as you make a beautiful 100" x 100" medallion quilt.

In Lesson 2, Laura gives tips to make working with bias edges easier as Glorieta requires a lot of bias edges in its units. She also gives tips for working with directional fabrics and making quilt units in different ways to ensure the fabric print all goes in the desired direction.

Glorieta quilting video lessons are free for a limited time only at McCallsQuilting.com/QuiltAlong. Complete lesson schedule available at link above. If you've missed an episode or can't wait for the next video lesson, the entire series is available at any time through QNNtv subscription offers, or Quilt and Sew Shop purchase options.
