In Württemberg between Warthausen and Ochsenhausen, the Öchsle museum train operates. The steam locomotive 99 788 was used on the approximately 22km long narrow-gauge railway (750mm) during our visit. It is one of the new locomotives of the Deutsche Reichsbahn and was based in Saxony until 2001. It was then sold to Baden-Württemberg and has been back under full steam ever since.
