Nagarhole Tiger Reserve is the second biggest Tiger Reserve in Karnataka and living lot of wild animals like elephant, tiger, leopard, black cheetah, Indian gaur, deer, etc. in the forest. Kabini Backwaters Forest Safari is a popular experience conducted by the Karnataka Forest Department in Kabini river. The Karnataka Forest department operates two types of safaris in Kabini- one is the jeep safari and the other is boat safari in Kabini River. The boat safari lasts for close to 90 minutes and guests may see elephants mud bathing on the shores, several birds such as cormorants, cranes, darters along the river banks, crocodiles as well as snakes.

Kabini jungle safari is one of the famous tiger sighting in south India. Second largest tiger population in Karnataka is Kabini. Karanataka forest department provides 2 types of safari like bus & van safari.

Safari Timings:
Morning 6 to 9 & 6.30 to 9
Evening 3 to 6 & 3.30 to 6

Safari Fare:
3 hours Safari - Rs.869
2 1/2 hours Safari - Rs.610
