This lecture deals with the production of X-rays, use of different anode to study different aspects of crystallography. Generation of characteristic radiation, Bremsstrahlung radiation, and emission spectra of the anode was discussed. The prominent researcher with a history of X-ray diffraction was enlightened in the current lecture. It demonstrates Bragg's law and its relation to study crystallography. Difference between home source and synchrotron source with their working principle elaborated in this lecture. this lecture also introduces symmetry in crystal.
