It's time to start another round of modifications to our Overland Transit Van and I'm starting out with this 12v, 8,000 BTU Air Conditioner unit from Velit Camping. This should let us extend our overland trips into the summer by letting us keep cool and sleep comfortably when it's hot and humid.

I did the install over a couple of days but total time was less than 8 hours. If your van is more built out inside than mine is it will take you longer to make room and run the wiring but it's not hard to install. They include the wiring harness, seal and fuses with the unit so all you need is the sealant and tools to make it happen.
